Dragons
In the beginning, dragons forged the world of Auratia. Morgath, the leader of the dragons created the earth, forests, oceans, and sky. His brethren Kronos and Lysaia then crafted the other races that would share the land with them.
Many millenniums have passed since then. Morgath reunited with the chaos from whence he was born. Two Dragon Wars have come and gone, eventually claiming both Lysaia and Kronos as well. Now the remaining inhabitants of Auratia must work together to rebuild their shattered land.
Dragon's Prophet boasts a world filled with hundreds of different dragons. Each is unique and has its own story to share with the Osira.
Families Edit
There are seventeen families of dragons listed in the Dragon Compendium, each including a variety of types (detailed in next section) and species (detailed under each family).
Types Edit
Over time, the ecology around the dragons has influenced their features help them adapt to different climates and regions. This has led to additional subdivision by type. At present there are three type categories: air, land, and water. The types in each category have similar moving speeds but different identifying traits.
Air Dragons Edit
Air dragons are fliers and are valued for their ability to travel between areas without risking confrontation with the local wildlife. For this reason, air dragons are exceedingly popular and commonly used within the game.
Skytouched Dragons favor Intelligence and Dragon Affinity as their main stats. They do well with builds focusing on DPS or healing. Because their air-based impact attacks take them out of the range of ground mobs, they are not good at holding aggro. Currently, Skytouched Dragons and Windrider dragons are very successful in the dragon arena due to critical hits and magic-based attacks, of which strength-based dragons are vulnerable.
Windrider dragons are bat-like in appearance. Windrider dragons favor Dragon Affinity and Intelligence as their main stats. They do well with builds focusing on DPS or healing. Currently, Skytouched and Windrider dragons are very successful in the dragon arena due to critical hits and magic-based attacks, to which most dragons are vulnerable.
Fabled Ancient Dragons and Ancient Dragons and are blessed with high strength, constitution & ferocity. While they may not do as much flat damage per second as other classes, they are extremely-well rounded and satisfy multiple roles, including physical damage, tanking and aggro management, and healing. Especially noteworthy is their sweeping attack, which covers a large area and can affect large numbers of enemy mobs.
They do best with builds focusing on building strength & ferocity & constitution, healing skills, and passive strength & sweep attack boosts. Their regular attacks tend to be very slow and clunky, and as a result Fabled Ancients are usually very easy to defeat in the arena.
Ironhide's natural strength lies in being nearly invincible – they’re heavy in Constitution and Focus, and one of their evolution skills turns them to stone, resisting all damage and reflecting a small amount back at the attacker.
Assault as their name implies, favor damage, and a lot of it. They’re heavy in Strength and Focus, and when some Ferocity is added, they can be quite deadly. Like their evolution skill implies, they can be likened to berserkers.
The two-headed Hydra's were once thought to be the result of Shax experimentation. Despite their awkward anatomy and overall size, they have the highest base flight speed of all the dragons (likely owing to their very large, powerful wings).
Oriental dragons are adapt at both air and aquatic travel. They have a balanced stat layout and work well for either a magic or physical DPS build. Additionally, their small hitbox size increases their survivability in combat. Oriental's have an erratic way of fighting and tend to knock their targets around which may be useful for ranged classes.
Duskreaver's appear to be more refined Assault dragons. Their wing joints are equipped with large, powerful claws that are their preferred method of attack. Duskreavers have the distinction of being the only family with both maximum flight and running speeds.
Phantom dragons are eerily similar to various breeds of Doom Dragons. With their comically small wings and large bodies, they’re not very quick dragons, but are very adept at magical attacks and skills.
Land Dragons Edit
Land dragons come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and specialties. Some are large beasts of burden, used by Osira merchants to haul their wares all across Auratia. Some are agile and fast and often favored as ground mounts. Still others are muscular and excel at close-range combat. All land dragons give priority to physical combat, but their magical combat abilities are not far behind.
Stalwart dragons are well rounded with high Constitution and equal Focus and Dragon Affinity. These natural tanks can both dish out and receive a vicious beating. As expected, they tend to manifest support-oriented passive abilities (silver-bordered dragon skills). Because of their size, Stalwarts move a little slower than other land dragons.
The velociraptor-like Swiftfoot dragons are prized for their high Ferocity and Focus, which translates into greater crit and the highest damage per second. When tamed, they often manifest passive movement impairing abilities and staggers (silver-bordered dragon skills).
Paragon dragons and Razorspine dragons have naturally high Strength and Focus and are always a solid choice for a damage dealer. Their attack speed surpasses all other types, allowing proc-based skills a higher chance at activating.
The horse-like Mythical Dragons are very difficult to find and capture in the wild, but if a speedy mount is what you need, these dragons can easily rival the aptly-named Swiftfoot family.
Water Dragons Edit
Aqua Dragons are naturally swift in the water, and are blessed with high Strength and Focus. For all intents and purposes Aqua Dragons are similar to Paragons and Razorspines and should generally have their stats and builds developed the same way.
Dunestalker's look like large, awkward iguanas, usually with a hunched back. These dragons are usually found near water, with the exception of the desert cave dwellers located in and around Aymori Sands in Korhala.
Mechanics Edit
Capturing a Dragon Edit
Players will need to prove themselves to a dragon before they can create a bond with it. They can attempt to capture
it using the Capture Dragon skill. They'll have to play the capturing mini-game which involves using the keys WASD (and sometimes F, G, H, J, K, or L when facing a more powerful dragon) to keep the icon balanced within the center of the target. Charisma no longer affects how easy it is to tame a dragon, instead the stat Draconic influence reduces the amount of time needed to tame a dragon. This stat is only found on Necklaces, Earrings, and Rings. It cannot be gained any other way. Other factors are taken into account too such as the dragon's stamina score, their rarity, level, etc. On occasion, the dragon will have had to be beaten down below 50% of its current health points. Sometimes, attempting to capture a dragon can result in the dragon healing some during the capture process, and the player's HP dropping slightly.
Using Dragons in Combat Edit
Players may use dragons in combat against enemies in order to reduce the enemy's health faster, use beneficial spells or healing buffs to assist player, or keep the enemy distracted away from the player. When summoned, a dragon can be directed to attack a specific enemy by pressing F1 or a customized configuration. Dragons have a variety of different attacks, including sweeps, impacts, and strikes. Many combat dragon skills affect a specific type of attack and may increase the amount of damage or type of damage of that attack.
Dragon Skills Edit
Dragons have a variety of skills. Some of them are used as attacks, buffs, and heals for the dragon itself to use. They also sometimes have skills that help with gathering materials for crafting. Additionally, there are skills that the dragon bestows on its owner. These special skills are called Dragon Soul Skills.
Summoning Edit
Dragons can be summoned in two ways. To auto-mount your dragon hit the Tab key, your dragon will be summoned and you will immediately be mounted onto the dragon. To summon your dragon for battle, hit ALT+(F1-F6).
You can also push the "
" key, and it will summon the last dragon you had out for battle.
Dragon Storage and the Dragon Lair Edit
The Dragon Stable Edit
The Dragon Stable holds active dragons that travel with the player and can be summoned for battle or riding. The Dragon Soul Skills held by dragons in the Dragon Stable are available for player use. To view your Dragon Stable, push the "P" key. Players begin with 2 open slots for dragons, and can upgrade up to 6 slots through the purchase of station cash. If the player has upgraded the number of slots, it is a good strategy to always keep a slot open in case the player encounters a Dungeon Rare dragon. If the player is planning on capturing a common dragon, having 2 open slots allows the player to capture multiple dragons so that the player can choose the dragon with the better stats, dragon skills, or available skill slots.
The dragon stable also allows you to pick your dragon. What if I have multiple dragons!? Not a problem! Simply click on the dragon you want to use. What if I have more dragons and they dont appear? *DONT PANIC YOUR DRAGON IS STILL THERE!* Just buy more space or click the arrows to find your dragons there or the game will tell you when you have enough dragons.
The Dragon Lair Edit
The Dragon Lair can be accessed through the Lair Master, found in most major cities and towns. Dragons held in the dragon lair are not available for combat or riding, but players can pay to have their dragons increase in level, improve dragon skills, gather crafting materials and dragon flutes (used to summon dragons). Dragons can easily be switched between the Dragon Stable and Dragon Lair by dragging and dropping. Players begin with 2 open slots for dragons, and can upgrade up to 6 slots through the purchase of station cash. Also at the Dragon lair, dragons can transfer dragon skills between themselves through Field Training, which can be used 3x per day for a random chance to transfer skills to open skill slots. On the "attributes" page, dragons that have been levelled can use available points to increase stats to further develop the dragon towards a specific combat style.
The Dragon Chamber Edit
The Dragon Chamber can be accessed through the Lair Master, found in most major cities and towns. Dragons stored in the Dragon Chamber are held in storage for further need. The Dragon Chamber can be accessed by using station cash to purchase rows of storage slots. Dragons can be sent to the Dragon Chamber by right clicking a dragon in the Dragon Lair.
Dragons, which come in many different types and with different draconic abilities, are the ultimate tools to make your avatar unique. Even before fully equipping your character, the most difficult dungeon can be beaten by having the right dragon at your side.

Valentine Dragons
Every year, a new Valentine's Day dragon will be released for a brief time surrounding this holiday, and old Valentine's Day dragons are able to produce offspring of their same breed. Valentine's Day dragons will lay multiple eggs, causing the Abandoned Page (AP) to have many previous-release holiday eggs in it.
- The pink "Valentine Dragon" dragon in 2009.
- The light pink (or black and red Alt) "Sweetling" dragon in 2010.
- The pink and white "Rosebud Dragon" dragon in 2011.
- The red and brown "Heartseeker Dragon" dragon in 2012.
- The pink and white "Arsani Dragon" in 2013.
- The white, red and gold "Radiant Angel Dragon" in 2014.
- The red, pink and silver "Heartstealing Dragon" in 2015.
- The purple and pink "Mutamore Dragon" in 2016.
- The purple and gold "Soulstone Dragon" in 2017.
Valentine's Day dragons are limited to 2 Cave-born (CB) eggs per scroll. You can keep one egg of your previous Valentine's Day dragon breedings, and take as many old holiday dragons you want. If you exceed the 2-CB-per-scroll limit on catching the new-release dragon however, those extra eggs would be auto-abandoned.
No breed of Valentine's Day dragon will be re-released; if you missed a previous year's holiday dragon, the only way to obtain one is if someone who already has one breeds it for you. That is only possible around Valentine's Day time; for the rest of the year, holiday dragons only produce the same breed as the other parent. Since the "rare x rare breeding" got implemented, Valentine's Day dragons are able to reproduce with each other the week surrounding Valentine's Day. During the course of the year, they can breed with standard dragons. These breedings result only in their partner's breed of eggs, but in the time period surrounding Valentine's Day, they can result in eggs of the breed of the Valentine's Day dragon parent.
None of them have Breed Specific Actions. Valentine, Rosebud, Arsani, Heartstealing and Soulstone dragons are female-only, while Sweetlings, Heartseekers, Radiant Angels and Mutamores are male-only. When first released, Sweetling dragons underwent a glitch on certain users' scrolls where the eggs where auto-abandoned despite the users not exceeding the scroll limit. This was soon fixed and the users affected by the glitch were given Alt Sweetlings in a black and red colour scheme. The release of the Arsani dragon also saw the first concept artist to receive a Spriter's Alt of this holiday dragon.

‘War Dragons’: Top 10 Tips & Cheats You Need to Know
Published Apr 25, 2015 at 3:43am
Here are the top 10 tips/tricks/cheats you need to know for War Dragons.
1. Warrior Dragons are Your Tanks
“They say dragons never truly die. No matter how many times you kill them.”
– S.G. Rogers, Jon Hansen and the Dragon Clan of Yden
• War Dragons gives you control of a dragon army to decimate enemy fortresses. There are three main dragon classes in War Dragons: warrior, hunter and sorcerer. Each has its own strengths, weaknesses and unique spells. What kind of dragons you use to attack an enemy island will be the foundation of your offensive strategy. Of the three classes, warriors are the most durable. When you come across a really tough island with a lot of offensive capabilities, consider sending in your warrior dragons first. Due to their large amount of health, warriors can take a lot of damage and build up rage. When dragons build up enough rage, they can use a variety of spells. Since rage is transferable between dragons, a popular strategy is to build rage with a warrior, then send in a sorcerer dragon to utilize the rage with spells. Speaking of sorcerers…
2. Sorcerer Dragons are Your Spellmasters
“Always speak politely to an enraged dragon.”
– Steven Brust, Jhereg
• Sorcerer dragons are the glass cannons of War Dragons. They can deal massive amounts of spell damage, but they don’t have a ton of health. When you need to take out some tricky towers quickly, sorcerers might be your best bet. Sorcerers also usually have area effect spells, which damage many enemy buildings at once. For example, if your enemy was foolish enough to put a cluster of lightning towers on one island, you may want to send in a sorcerer to take them all out before they can damage you. Watch out for mage towers when using sorcerers, they can block spells and nullify a sorcerer dragon before it has a chance to cause any destruction.
3. Hunter Dragons are Your…. Well, Hunters
“Noble dragons don’t have friends. The nearest they can get to the idea is an enemy who is still alive.”
― Terry Pratchett, Guards! Guards!
• Hunter dragons might seem like the most straightforward class, but they’ve got a few tricks up their sleeve. As a rule of thumb (or claw in this case) hunter dragons have the strongest basic attack and a medium amount of health. So you can use hunter dragons to do things like take out problematic towers with a surgical strike. And what’s a good hunter without some sneakiness? Hunter dragons generally have spells which give them stealth abilities so they can infiltrate bases and destroy problematic targets.
4. Spell it Out
“Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.”
• Using spells effectively is the difference between becoming a dragon hero or dragon zero. Before you send your dragons into any base, you should have an attack plan of what spells you want to use and when. Here’s some tips on using spells:
– Maximize the duration of your defensive spells by using Stoneskin and Invincibility right before you get hit
– The Vampiric Touch spell can take the health and rage of a building and give it to your dragon
– The Healing Mark spell lets you carefully position medical packs for the next attacker
– The Self-Destruct spell can obliterate an entire island at the last minute
– The Evasion spell allows your hunter dragon to dodge many of the incoming projectiles. Use it to quickly skip an island and take out targets on next island
– The Cure Poison spell cures and blocks any poison for the next few seconds.
– The Battle Cry spell increases the power of not only your dragon but all following dragons!
– The Elemental Mayhem spell is the perfect counter for a base full of lightning and storm towers.
5. License to Guild
“It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.”
J.R.R Tolkien, The Hobbit
• One of the coolest features of War Dragons is the guild system. Your guild members will be you be your brothers and sisters in arms. They can help you attack others, defend your base and fight in massive wars (more on that later). Do a little research on forums, the wiki and in chat to see which guild would be the best fit for you (hint: if it has 1 member and is named Dragon_Bait, you might want to reconsider). Once you’ve found a guild, use the team wiki in your Meeting Hall to share rules, tips, tricks and strategies with your team. Don’t forget to show your guild some love by transferring resources and giving them gifts when you buy value packs.

Master List of Dragons
Master List of Dragons Edit
Divine Dragon - Special Event only. Divine dragon can belong to any tier. Divine is not a Tier by itself, but does have a separate tab in the Breeding Castle dedicated for them. Divine dragons are indicated by an asterisk (*) next to their name.
Lineage Tiers - Red > Purple > Blue > Orange > Green > Gold > Platinum > Sapphire > Garnet > Emerald > Obsidian
**Red dragons being the weakest, Obsidian being the strongest (generic stats wise) when comparing under the same availability. Dragons with lots of skills can be smartly utilized to vastly increase its power (as well as certain combat tactics, such as saving rage for the next Sorcerer dragon in an attack) so a Red dragon (say, Kinnara) is not necessarily weaker than a Purple dragon.
Availability Tiers - Normal / Unspecified / Common > Rare > Epic > Legendary > Mythic
**The first tier of Availability is currently unnamed. This page is using Common for table listing below.
**Availability also affects the dragon overall stats and power. Usually rarer dragons under the same lineage tierare more powerful, either stats wise or skills set wise or both.
*Actual dragon DPS and health may vary, higher or lower than listed, depending upon research completed.
